PROJECT – CREATE A REPRESENTATION OF HARRY POTTER’S NOCTURNE ALLEY IN A 4′ X 10′ SPACE
Individual plywood panels were painted black and white in trompe l’oeil style to mimic buildings and storefronts lit up by moonlight.
Each 4′ x 8′ panel was cut to shape with a jigsaw and then installed with hinges on the supporting walls angling back to create the illusion of depth. The windows were cut out and covered with velum and back lit with small puck lights.
Final touch of fog added for drama.

PROJECT – DESIGN AND INSTALL REPLICA OF HOGWARTS CASTLE ON TOP OF A GRANITE MOUNTAIN FOR ENTRANCE
The castle was designed scaled with perspective giving the illusion of looking at it from a great distance below. It was constructed with painted plywood panels cut to shape combined with painted dimensional elements. The castle was made up of individual pieces installed in layers to create depth and realism.
A stone mountain facade was built with an archway creating a tunnel that lead into the Halloween shop. The stone-like facade was made from foam insulation panels carved and painted with acrylic paint.
